Shirley is a very affectionate dog looking for a very special home. 

​

Shirley is intolerant to unannounced visitors and needs time to warm up to properly introduced visitors.

​

Not a lot is known about Shirley's past. She was picked up as a stray then spent several months at the pound. She was adopted by two different families in a matter of 2 weeks. At her second home, she bit ( no injuries) unannounced visitors that entered the backyard of her new home just 2 days after she had arrived. The family was going to have her euthanized.

​

Since being at our farm, she has slowly been introduced to livestock and is doing well. She requires a physical fence of some sort.

​

Her ideal home would be someone who lives alone and wants a companion/ guardian dog that can be around stock but that is more of a protector of her person.
