I teach students to connect with and understand their horse using natural horsemanship principles. Lessons are taught in a western saddle. Students should walk away feeling confident to deal with any situation that they may find themselves in and how to properly correct any misbehavior a horse may offer. Lessons may also include ground exercises as well as grooming and tacking depending on students overall riding goals. Class times are 45 minutes but generally run over because we always stop on a good note. This is a perfect introduction to horse ownership, how to look for and treat common ailments and learn general care and nutrition. Sound like too much for your little one? This is also a perfect learning environment for very young riders to gain confidence and just have fun!!!! Lessons, in the winter, are given at a nearby facility with an indoor arena.
Cost: $25 per 45 minute lesson
